I do tanning throughout the year, can I do laser hair removal on tanned skin?
Laser hair removal can not be done on actively tanned skin. It is recommended that you wait 3 to 4 weeks after a tanning treatment before proceeding with laser hair removal.
How many treatments are typically needed to see results?
Depending on the skin type and hair type resuts can be typically seen in 8 -12 sessions.
Why are multiple treatments required?
For permanent hair reduction, the laser can only target hair in the active growth phase. This is the phase when the hair follicle contains actively growing hair attached to the root with blood supply. As only a percentage of our hair is in the active phase at any given time, multiple treatments are required to achieve permanent hair reduction.
